Pursuing Racial Justice
The Pursuing Racial Justice Committee is a large and open group which seeks to live out our baptismal covenant to “strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being” by working for racial justice in our congregation and community. Sponsored events include:
• Black History Month Happenings (African American Heroes and Sheroes, guest preachers, potluck luncheon)
• Juneteenth
• MLK Day of Observation “Let Freedom Ring” Day
• Pridefest
• Big Reads
