Bishop Deon Johnson invites you to join an afternoon of fun and fellowship at our first (and hopefully annual) Diocese of Missouri Family Fall Picnic to be held from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday Sept. 14, at Camp MoVal.

There will be many activities available for all ages. There will be canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and paddle boats (with life vests and changing rooms provided) on the 7-acre lake. There’s no swimming, but you can hike in the 150 acres of beautiful forests, native prairie and natural streams. Bring your mountain bike to ride on the trails, or sign up for camp-staff guided archery & slingshots and kid-friendly crafting. A wonderful buffet of hot and cold food, beverages and snacks with options for those with special dietary needs will be provided. Read more about this on the Diocesan website or in the weekly Proclaim e-newsletter.

Camp MoVal is a UCC camp located at 2659 Camp MoValRd, Union MO 63084, just a few miles southwest of Union, MO. The cost for this event is only $20 per person with a $50 max per family (assistance available by request).
